Rainford Summer Festival promises to be a fun-filled day for all the family. With a wide variety of things to see and do, there is something for everyone. There will be an amazing array of stalls and marquees with lots of Rainford businesses and organisations represented. Stroll through the artisan market and food courts and listen to live music.
Additionally there will be fairground attractions, olympkids and other activities for younger visitors and Live music on the Wish FM stage and in the accoustic garden.
Lots of options for eating and drinking including the ultimate cream tea and George Wright Brewery has created a special summer themed beer for the event complete with a sunflower label.
All this for an entrance ticket of just £1.00 for adults and 50p for children.
The village celebration will be hosted on Rainford High School's site and will run from 11am to 5pm on Saturday 13 July 2013. The event will showcase the school's new facilities and students and the best of everything the village has to offer. Rainford High principal Ian Young has been overwhelmed by the support received from businesses across the village.
